Koufax: a band that you should know

Koufax released Hard Times Are In Fashon in August of 2005. This is the band's third full-length release, but first recording with the Pope brothers (Rob and Ryan), formally of the Get Up Kids.
With this album, Koufax continues the tradition of creating danceable, hip songs that leave you no choice but to sing along. Expect a dash of 80's new wave, a heavy dose of boogie piano, mixed with modern indie. Move over Hot Hot Heat.
Doesn't everyone appreciate thought-provoking lyrics? Get ready for an unabashedly honest review of society with the progressive vocalist and guitarman, Robert Suchan. "Colour us Canadian" is an expatriot anthem questioning the state of American politics. "Why Bother at All" delineates society's apathetic nature from an overload of misinformation. "Isabelle" brings the generic and shallow dream of fame to a realistic level. Other songs parody modern fashion pretention as well as the long term effects of adolescent drug abuse. Every song is sure to please.
The band is now on tour with Doghouse record cohorts, The Honorary Title and Limbeck.
